EDITORIAL POLICY

How We Work & How We Earn

Our editorial standards, affiliate disclosure, research methodology, and accuracy policy — in plain language.

Editorial Independence

internet.network is an independently operated research and information resource. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or editorially controlled by any telecoms operator, eSIM provider, ISP, VPN company, or mobile network. Our editorial team produces content based on independent research, hands-on testing, and publicly available data — not on vendor briefings, sponsored placements, or PR relationships.

No provider can pay to influence the editorial content of any guide, comparison, or data page on this site. If a commercial relationship exists that could affect how we present information about a provider, we disclose it clearly in the relevant content.

Affiliate Links & How We Earn

Some links on this site — particularly in our Guides section — are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase, internet.network may receive a small commission from the provider at no additional cost to you.

Providers we link to may include Airalo, Holafly, Nomad, NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark, and others. The presence of an affiliate link does not mean we endorse or recommend the product over alternatives. Our editorial assessments are written independently of affiliate arrangements. We include affiliate links only with providers we have independently evaluated and believe provide genuine value to our readers.

We do not accept payment to include, feature, or rank providers in our comparison guides. Star ratings and rankings in comparison articles reflect our independent assessment criteria (coverage breadth, pricing transparency, support quality, and app experience), not commercial arrangements.

Research Methodology

Our guides are produced through a combination of:

• Hands-on testing: Our writers personally activate eSIMs, test VPN providers, and use the products and services they write about. Where personal testing data is cited (such as speed tests or real-world measurements), we state the tester, location, and date.

• Primary source verification: ISP pricing, eSIM plan details, and broadband availability data are verified directly at provider websites and official sources. We note the verification date in each article's sources section.

• Data aggregation: Speed data for country and regional pages is sourced from Ookla's Speedtest Global Index and ITU telecommunications statistics, supplemented by editorial spot-checks. We cite sources at the foot of any article containing third-party data.

• Editorial review: All articles are reviewed before publication for factual accuracy, source verification, and compliance with our editorial standards.

Accuracy & Updates

Connectivity data changes rapidly — eSIM prices, ISP plans, broadband speeds, and visa requirements all shift regularly. We are committed to keeping our content current:

• All articles display a "Last updated" date visible to readers. This reflects the most recent substantive editorial review, not minor formatting changes.

• Pricing data in comparison articles is verified at time of publication and re-checked when articles are updated. Prices listed are approximate and may differ from current live pricing.

• Where data has a known shelf life (e.g. VPN pricing, eSIM plan availability), we include a note prompting readers to verify at the provider's website before purchasing.

If you notice outdated, incorrect, or misleading information in any article, please use our contact page to report it. We take corrections seriously and will review and update content promptly.

Limitations & Liability

internet.network is an information resource only. We do not sell, resell, or distribute eSIM plans, broadband packages, VPN subscriptions, or any other connectivity product or service.

All information is published in good faith but without warranty. We are not responsible for: pricing changes after publication, provider outages or service failures, any loss arising from decisions made based on our content, or issues with products purchased through affiliate links.

For any purchase, subscription, billing dispute, or technical support issue, please contact the provider directly. Our contact page is for editorial feedback and data correction requests only.
